With a fully customised and high spec catering trailers, The Crafted and Co. can provide any style of food for up to 300 people at a private event for far more in a food truck style setting. Specialising in high-quality wholesome food, The Crafted and Co. aim to provide high quality and tasty food customised by the client.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

 

The Crafted and Co. is a unique model which joins industry professionals together with a shared vision of great food, great service and a whole lot of fun. Our Team includes Bakers, Party Starters and Chefs who all love to build exceptional events.

With sexy matte black, raw steel, glass, natural timbers and classic metals. The Crafted and Co. is a beautiful addition to any event. Being fully self contained we can set up in any location we can get our utes  into and our quiet inverter generator/ gas system is capable of generating all of our own power requirements for any event. We also have our own water tanks and catch all our own water waste. 

If you want us to be silent (the gens are good but there is some noise) We can plug all our trucks into a standard 10amp power point so if you do have accessible power this is totally an option too. 

The Crafted and Co. uses its strong trade relationships to ensure that all goods can be secured at great prices and also if required prepped in state of the art kitchens with strong robust food safety policies.

TRAILER SPECS:

SIZE

Our Trailers vary is length from 8m to 6m and are all 2.4m wide. They all need a clearance of 3.5m in height to ensure we can get in also. Its important to note that all the trailers need to be put into position by one of our utes, which means this needs to be taken into consideration when choosing a spot for us. We will chat in our consult and this will be the main reason for a site reccy.

PRICING:

We have Packages and Pricing for all the styles of dining we offer. All our pricing includes GST, unless otherwise stated. 

STAFFING:

Our packages include the cost of our chefing team (the core people needed to get the job done) but don’t include the cost of general service staff, the waiters and dishwashers.

As always once we've had a chat we can be specific about this cost.  

TRAVEL:

We travel.  Alot! We have a hard rule on staff doing more than 5 hours driving in a shift, so we have a limit of 2.5 hours in each direction before we need to chat about accommodation.

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:

A $1000 non- refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This is taken off the final bill.

40% of your indicated bill is required three months out from your big day. 

50% of your final bill is required the week before. 

and the final 10% plus any incidentals are due 7 days after the event.

PROCESS AND PLANNING:

Get your date penciled in - this requires a $100 deposit (which comes off your bill - We have three big trailers for hire but these are booking quickly for the 2023 and 2024 season.

Once you know we have a date, we'll send you menus.

You confirm that you want to book us in, pay the deposit and then we start the process of working out what you want! Easy. 

HOW IT WORKS ON THE DAY:

We will arrive at your venue at a pre-determined time.  We will continue to prep and organise ourselves, either liaising with the venue you have organised or your MC for timings on the day. These never go exactly to plan, so we are more than happy to adapt to suit, the benefit of being self contained is that we can be super flexible.

Once we have finished service we will begin pack down, usually this means all of our gear as well, although depending on venues and travel we are happy to leave grazing tables etc behind and pick up the next day.

We generally leave with the trailers by 10pm at most dinner events, which means we need to have access to exit the venue. We can leave the trailers on site but this does need some planning. 

Generally if we have extra waitstaff or a staggered team they will have their own vehicles and will complete their role and leave when done.
