With a fully customised and high spec catering trailers, The Crafted and Co. can provide any style of food for up to 300 people at a private event for far more in a food truck style setting. Specialising in high-quality wholesome food, The Crafted and Co. aim to provide high quality and tasty food customised by the client.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Crafted and Co. is a unique model which joins industry professionals together with a shared vision of great food, great service and a whole lot of fun. Our Team includes Bakers, Cake Makers, Party Starters and Chefs who all love to build exceptional events.
With sexy matte black, raw steel, glass, natural timbers and classic metals. The Crafted and Co. is a beautiful addition to any event. Being fully self contained we can set up in any location we can get our utes into and our quiet inverter generator/ gas system is capable of generating all of our own power requirements for any event. We also have our own water tanks and catch all our own water waste.
If you want us to be silent (the gens are good but there is some noise still) We can plug all our trucks into a standard 10amp power point as well so if you do have accessable power this is totally an option too.
Our integrated BOSE sound system comes as part of all of our packages so there is no need to worry about beats during your event
The Crafted and Co. uses its strong trade relationships to ensure that all goods can be secured at great prices and also if required prepped in state of the art kitchens with strong robust food safety policies.
ORIGINAL BIG TRUCK
6m of actual length with an additional 2m drawbar, 2.5m wide and 3.5m tall. He's a big dude, so we need to make sure that we can fit into your site with this one..... If we cant do a reccy beforehand we will need detailed images of the site. This big guy has a minimum spend of $3k incl GST but excluding travel.
Smaller of the two but with the same capabilities. FRANK is 4m of actual length (6m total), 2.2m wide and 2.5m high. Generally we still like to do a reccy, but generally FRANK fits most places. Frank has a minimum spend of $2k incl GST but excluding travel.
TUCK - the little food truck
Our baby - Tuck can cater to 50 or so people and has a slightly limited menu but is super cute and a great addition to those small events the big trailers cant attend
We have menus and set pricing for all of the styles of dining we offer, you get to add or subtract any of the options to suit your budget and style of wedding. It is really up to you. All our pricing includes GST, unless otherwise stated.
Staffing is additional to our menus, as we can only really apply it once we know what you are going with on your day. We charge $28 per hour per person. As an indication most 90 to 100 person weddings need about $1000 worth of staffing for the food service, which includes the set up and pack down generally. As always once we've had a chat we can be specific about this cost. If you need barstaff, clean up staff or just general sorter-outerers we can bring them too if you need.
We travel. We charge $100 per hour, each way (charged to the nearest half hour for convenience). If you need us to stay overnight, we can negotiate a night rate.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS:
A $500 non- refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This is taken off the final bill.
20% of your indicated bill is required three months out from your big day.
80% of the remainder is required the week of the big day.
Final Settlement is due 7 days after the big day.

PROCESS AND PLANNING:
Get your date penciled in. We have two big trailers and a little truck available for hire but these are booking quickly for the 2018 and 2019 season.
Once you know we have a date, we'll send you menus.
You confirm that you want to book us in, pay the deposit and then we start the process of working out what you want! Easy.
HOW IT WORKS ON THE DAY:
We will arrive at your venue at a pre-determined time. We will continue to prep and organise ourselves, either liaising with the venue you have organised or your MC for timings on the day. These never go exactly to plan, so we are more than happy to adapt to suit, the benefit of being self contained is that we can be super flexible.
Once we have finished service we will begin pack down, usually this means all of our gear as well, although depending on venues and travel we are happy to leave grazing tables etc behind and pick up the next day.
We generally leave with the trailers by 10pm at most dinner events, which means we need to have access to exit the venue. We can leave the trailers on site but this does need some planning.
Generally if we have extra waitstaff/ bar staff / cleanup staff they will have their own vehicles and will complete their role and leave when done.
